TCU basketball rallied late in a tense showdown against the Arizona State Sun Devils, securing a crucial 74-70 win fueled by freshman standout Jace Posey and sharpshooter Noah Reynolds. The Horned Frogs, now winners in four of their last five Big 12 matchups, showcased grit to stave off a furious Sun Devils comeback in the final minute.

Posey exploded for a season-best 20 points off the bench, sinking eight free throws and adding six rebounds. Noah Reynolds, however, stole the spotlight with a dagger three-pointer at the 18-second mark to reclaim the lead after Arizona State’s BJ Freeman (21 points) tied the game at 67. Reynolds finished with 19 points and four assists.

TCU led 59-46 midway through the second half before a 14-4 Sun Devils run, capped by Freeman’s layup, leveled the score.

Jace ignited us early, but Noah’s poise under pressure saved the night, said TCU coach Jamie Dixon postgame.
Freshman Vasean Allette then iced the win by sinking four consecutive free throws.

Key Performances:

  • Jace Posey: 20 PTS, 6 REB, 2 STL
  • Noah Reynolds: 19 PTS, 4 AST, 3 REB
